How to Use

Use the arrows to reorder them — the merged document follows the order shown — and the X to drop one. When the order looks right, click Merge PDFs and the combined file downloads straight away.

Order Is Everything
The merged document follows exactly the order in the list, top to bottom. If you select several files at once, they arrive in the order your operating system hands them over, which is not always alphabetical — so it is worth a quick check before merging. Use the up and down arrows to move any file.
What Gets Preserved
Page content, size, and orientation carry over unchanged from each source file, so a mix of A4 and Letter pages stays exactly as it was. The merge copies pages rather than re-encoding them, which means no quality loss and no re-compression.
Interactive extras like form fields, bookmarks, and digital signatures are not carried across. If a document is signed, merging it invalidates that signature — which is true of any merge tool, not just this one.
Files That Will Not Merge
A file can fail to load for a few reasons:
- It is password-protected — remove the password first, then merge.
- It is damaged or was only partly downloaded.
- It is not really a PDF despite the file extension.
- It is extremely large; very big scans can exhaust browser memory.
